Hollywood FX is an incredible library of over 100 true 3D transitions and effects for video, film, publishing, Internet, and multimedia. Hollywood FX is a snap to use within your nonlinear editor. Just drag and drop the Hollywood FX icon into your timeline like you would any other transition. The FX Selection Dialog will appear, letting you select from over 100 incredible FX. An immediate preview is provided so you can see exactly what you'll get.

Incredible Options

Click on the Options tab to customize the following:

• Quickly change transitions between fly-on and fly-off.
• Get rid of jaggies with antialiasing control.
• Control light direction in 1 degree increments.
• Turn on shadows for incredible realism.
• Add motion blur to create realistic blurred motion.
• Control transition period for hold-at-start and hold-at-end effects.

  Detailed 3D Object Control

The Objects tab gives you specific control over each object in the effect:

• Select additional video to map on other source objects in multi-window effects.
• Control cropping of video sources.
• Brighten any object using luminosity.
• Add shine for glossy bright spots.
• Control object transparency over time.
• Adjust the direction any object flies.
• Rotate object to follow path.
• Add any number of trails and control spacing.

  Path Editor

Now you can create new effects by changing the path of any object in any effect. With this feature you can create picture-in-picture effects, even with perspective. With the spline based path editor, you can create paths with acceleration and deceleration (tension, continuity, and bias control over each path control point). The interactive path editor is simple to use, just drag and rotate the wire frame objects exactly the way you want them.

Envelope Editor

An envelope lets you control a value over time. For example, an object can fade to invisible halfway through a transition, then become opaque again by the end of the transition. Hollywood FX's envelope editor lets you easily click and drag control points to quickly create envelopes.  You can even control how an object morphs from one shape to another.
