Panasonic DMR-HS2
Having been deeply involved with the development of the DVD-RAM
format, Panasonic has released a DVD Video Recorder that can record
on both DVD-RAM discs and DVD-R discs. Capable of high-speed data
transmission and high-speed random access, this recorder offers
countless recording and playback possibilities. Using the DMR-E20,
you can record up to 12 hours of video on new 2-sided, 9.4GB DVD-RAM
discs. These discs can be played back on a DVD-RAM compatible DVD
player - such as Panasonic's DVD-RP91 or DVD-H2000. Instead of
just shooting videos, now you can edit them too. Random access
makes it easy to perform simple non-linear editing using just a
single DVD Video Recorder, with no need for additional editing
equipment. Two encoding technologies are combined, Real time VBR
(Variable Bit Rate) and Visibility Modulation Technology, to provide
MPEG2 recording with superb picture quality.
