Before you purchase your new Buz™ multimedia producer for the G3, make sure your system meets the following requirements:

  • Apple® Power Macintosh® (originals, not upgraded; Powerbook G3 not supported.)
  • Available PCI slot
  • 48 MB minimum required to use Adobe Premiere® 4.2 LE
  • Hard drive space requirements:
    • 130 MB required for full installation
      additional 500 MB minimum free space to capture video

Adobe Premiere® 4.2 LE
, award winning software that allows you to capture video, add transitions, mix in audio, add titles, and then output your creation to Zip® or Jaz® disks, VCR tape or the Internet. Use the included EasyGuide to Adobe Premiere 4.2 LE to quickly become proficient with this great software.

  • EDIT - You can mark in and out points, trim video files, add filters and adjust color and brightness. The Project Window acts as a holding place for your captured files. Just drag-and-drop your clips onto the construction window to begin.
  • TRANSITION - Choose from a number of transition effects to join your video clips such as wipes, dissolves or cuts.
  • CAPTURE - Capture video, still images and audio from outside sources such as TV, camcorder, VCR or DVD. Buz™ gives you the flexibility to import from a variety of sources.
  • OUTPUT - Output your movie on videotape, Jaz® or Zip® disks, CDR's or post on the Internet.
  • ADD - Add tracks of stereo audio to your video. You can even import music from the Internet.

Iomega® RecordIt™ is the simplest way to record music and voice to your computer in 5.5 times less space (MPEG-2 original quality compression). Use RecordIt to mix in voice-overs or CD audio tracks with your videos or create your own collection of favorite music on Jaz® or Zip® disks or your hard drive.

  • OPEN - The opening interface allows you to choose one of the three options: Record Voice, Record Music or Play.
  • RECORD VOICE - Choosing the Record Voice button reveals an interface from which you can set the quality of your audio as well as start the recording.
  • RECORD MUSIC - Choosing the Record Music button reveals an interface which lets you choose your favorite tracks to record. You can also select where you want the tracks to be stored, on your Zip® or Jaz® disk or your hard drive.
  • PLAY - Choosing the Play button let you sell all available tracks in the play list window. The interface uses symbols similar to those on DC players and VCRs.

QuickTime® 3.0 provides advanced capabilities to all QuickTime-based applications (video editing, 3D animation, multimedia authoring, etc.), extensive file format support, real-time effects and transitions, slide-shows and web streaming.
